Your personal information is 100% safe and it's up to you whether credit card info on our servers. In fact your card numbers are completely unknown to us! You are in complete control of your billing at any time and can directly cancel billing cycles yourself at any time - without Icene intervention. Server and uptime statistics are on public display and you also have full access to our client base via MyIcene.
Honesty, Integrity and Communication
We don't employ any marketing gimmicks at Icene. What you see is really what you get. We say we use Dual Quad Core servers and we do. We say we use RAID arrays and we do. We say we have remote backups of your data and we do. We say we have all these guarantees and we do. We say we provide real 24/7 support and we do!
Communication is the key! Not only do we encourage client to client and client to staff interaction via our community we employ various methods to keep our clients appraised of issues and developments at Icene. Every server has a mailing list so if your server is experiencing an issue or needs schedule maintenance for hardware replacements and upgrades you will receive notice before, during and after the maintenance window. The same announcements are posted on our forum. If there is a network wide announcement all clients are notified on our main list. We also publish a monthly newsletter which oftens sums up the last month and announces new features or services and general news, tips and information. We have our own contribution to the blogosphere penned by yours truly which I use to go into hosting related issues in more detail and receive feedback from our client base. I sincerely feel that open communication through a multitude of avenues is the only way a host can thrive on today's internet which is why we provide so many options.
